Position:

The position is a technical support position covering both 1st and 2nd level support issues and tasks. The successful candidate will provide technical support to computer users located in both the office (where the role is based) and to users in our other out-lying locations as required.

Technical support will be both on a visit and remote control basis as required and it is essential that the successful applicant has a full UK driving license.

The position comes with use of a company vehicle on a rota basis and use of a company mobile telephone. The position also includes a responsibility for on-call cover on a rota basis and additional remuneration is paid for that.

Essential skills for the role would be the ability to support all Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office and desktop/laptop computer hardware. A Full UK driving license is also essential.

Desired skills would include working knowledge of telephone systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Server Operating Systems and computer networks.
